As a 4-star ecolodge situated in the heart of an exceptional natural environment, Antsanitia Resort is actively committed to an eco-responsible approach. Our mission is clear: to minimise our impact on the environment whilst offering our guests an authentic experience that respects nature.

Since the start of 2026, a significant milestone has been reached with the installation of drinking water fountains on site. This initiative aims to significantly reduce the use of plastic bottles, one of the most polluting and persistent forms of waste in our ecosystem.

An ongoing challenge: achieving ‘zero plastic’

Despite the measures already in place, we are aware that the path towards our ‘zero plastic’ goal is still ongoing. Completely reducing the use of plastic requires time, continuous effort and collective commitment.

That is why we are pursuing our efforts with determination, constantly improving our waste management practices and implementing sustainable solutions tailored to our environment.

Committed partners by our side

The success of this project also relies on strong partnerships. In particular, we are working with Madacompost, a key partner in the management of our plastic waste.

A true ‘treasure hunter’, Madacompost collects the sorted plastics from our site to process and recycle them. This partnership allows us to play an active role in recycling and reducing waste, whilst steadily moving towards our shared goal.
